Aqueous Two Phase System (ATPS) or liquid-liquid extraction is used in biotechnology to recover valuable compounds from raw sources. In Two-Phase Systems, many factors influence the Partition coefficient, K, (which ratio of protein concentration top phase that bottom phase) and Recovery percentage (Rec%). this research, two systems ATPS were used: first, polyethylene glycol (PEG) 4000/Sodium citrate (SC), second, PEG8000/ Sodium phosphate (SPH), for Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA). The behavior Rec% K pure (BSA) has been investigated throughout study by effects five parameters: temperature, (PEG4000 PEG8000), phosphate, pH, addition sodium chloride as a supporting agent. recovery BSA its partition coefficient are significantly influenced these various degrees. most influential variable PEG both systems. concentration, stabilizing impact NaCl crucial factor. interaction between biomolecules gets more hydrophobic raised. first system (PEG4000/SC), maximum 98.99% 97.69, respectively, at 31°C, PEG4000 1.5g/10 ml, 2.7 g/10 pH 10, 0.5 M concentration. While second (PEG8000/SPH), was 98.93% 92.12, 31oC, PEG8000 1.5 2.4 M.
